Some football memorabilia in from the fantastic win against Brazil.
Ticket and program which will make for a nice memory on someone's wall, let hope it's not too long before they are back with memorabilia of us reaching the World Cup Finals in Brazil!
A couple of signed rugby shirts in this week.
Not the cheapest thing to have framed running anywhere between £125 for child's to up to £200 for XL adults but the results are always the same "another happy customer". We're a bit a specialist in this area and I would estimate that we have done 500 in the last ten years. Sounds like a lot? Well one corporate customer had in excess of 250 done in a period of two years!
So some unusual stuff in this week.
Perhaps not as unusual a strangest request from a corporate customer 50 empty Cheese and Onion Walkers crisp packets signed by Gary Lineker, bizarre!
It's definitely a metal week.
It's a little strange how this happens. Some weeks we only get orders for a few metal frames and then you have a week like this when we have 18 which come from 8 separate orders. Oh the ebb and flow of the framing business.
No doubt everything is back to normal.
We are busy as we were on the build up to Christmas! Which doesn't give me too much time to write this blog! Better get back to it as we only have till tomorrow lunch to get everything on order so we can get everything done for the weekend! That's not say that we need to order everything in, we try and keep all our mounting boards and there is a good 300 of the moulding (lengths of framing material) we also keeps in stock
Start of a New Year at But Is It Art?
Typically this is a busy time of year for us comparable to Christmas so fingers crossed that holds true and that we are busy, busy, busy with framing work and like! People seem to have a new resolve and getting those pictures done seems to have pushed itself to the top of the list!
