Our Staff

Simon Eglington

Purchased But Is It Art? in 2003 from the founding proprietor Malcolm Walker. Keen to uphold the standard that the Walker family had maintained for 30 years, Simon has managed to run the business successfully ever since, producing in excess of £1.5M worth of framing and associated work. 

Joel Walmsley

Joined the business in 2005 and in 2007 became a stakeholder in the business. Joel is now responsible for the day-to-day running of the business. 

Emma Champion

Emma has been with us over five years now. Emma background is in the photographic industry where she has over 20 years of experience. 

Emma provided the photography for our website which included setting up and staging framed pieces.

Joanne Tinker

The newest member of our team Jo brings her experience in the art world to
